Founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) born in 1890 in indiana. At age of just 5, his father died leaving his mother and three children. He was forced to take care of his sliblings when his mother left for days. He learned cooking, how to make bread, vegetables and meat at age of 7. By age of 10, he was working as a farmhand. At age of 12 his mother remarried ultimately forced him to leave home the following year. At age of 14 he began working as a farmhand at another farm. He worked odd jobs for years. At age of 40 he opened a restaurant inside Shell Oil Company. In 1939, he came to own a restaurant which was destroyed by fire after just 4 months. In 1942, during war he sold his business and got divorced in 1947. At age of 50 he began to finalize his "secret chicken recipe". In 1955, at age of 65 his another restaurant failed. Later she host a station low-rated show. within few months, the show went from last to higher ranking.

Many people know her as the woman who created Harry Potter. But they don't know what difficulties she faced. She first had idea for Harry Potter in 1990 when she was on a train from Manchester to London. She began writing, later after one year her mother died. In 1992 she moved to portugal where she married. In 1993, her marriage ended. She moved to Edinburgh with her daughter to her sister. She was jobless and penniless. In 1995 all 12 major publishers rejected Harry Potter. Year later small publishing house accepted it. In 1997, the book was published. Today she has sold more than 400 million copies of her books and she is the most successful woman author.
Stephen King
Stephen king is famous for writing novels some of which have been made into movies. In his childhood his family barely made ends meet. He talks about submitting short stories to magazines at age of 16, but rejected. His first novel was rejected 30 times before it was published. He even threw the manuscript into garbage, his wife picked that because she believed in his dream. Today he has over 50 novels and has sold more than 350 million copies.
Charlie Chaplin
He was born in london. His father leaved his mother and him providing no financial support when he was only 2 years old. At age of 7, Chaplin was forced to go to a workhouse. His father died of cirrhosis of the liver. His mother battled mental illness, later she died leaving Charlie and his brother on their own. Chaplin took part in stage plays and enhanced his comedic talent. He found his way to Hollywood, where he become the famous silent-film actor.
